INTERNET SAFETY – Saturday, January 20th, 10 am – 3 pm
Scott Jeffery from Family and Community Services will be presenting an “Internet Safety” workshop for parents who have school-aged deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind children.
Parents are welcome to register and accompany children aged 12 and up.
You will learn:
- What are the Scams out there you and your children should know about?
- How do you know if is real or fake?
- How to explain the need for Internet Safety to your child?
- How to Play It Smart?
- Hands on Learning: Bring your devices and learn some tools and tips (optional).

This workshop is intended for families, children and their friends.
Please note, some of the adult ASL will be advanced, but we encourage all families interested to attend.
At this one day ASL workshop, parents will come to attend an adult ASL workshop and in the room right beside, the kids can attend their own fun ASL workshop. Parents will be in the adult workshop with Nancy Zavaglia, while the separate ASL class with Susan Warren!
